Like a Rolling Stone, 1966

Bob Dylan playing “Like a Rolling Stone” live in 1966. When I think about the period he was writing this music, and the mood of the nation in those years, it just blows my mind. With youthful cynicism, it became a social commentary that arguably lifted Dylan to his iconic status; His song resonating for decades throughout the world.

What is the music written now saying about the times we’re living in? Will it endure in the same way? It’s easy to say ‘No’ in the moment. I’m sure they said the same about Dylan back in ‘66.
