Paris
Our first trip to Paris was great, although I feel a little bad that - after living in England for 25 years - it took moving to Texas before I made it across the channel!
We travelled from London via Eurostar, and stayed at La Belle Juliette, a lovely hotel in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres. I was immediately impressed by the architecture - I adore and miss old stone work.
My personal highlight was the gardens at the château de Versailles, something I won’t forget for a long time. Here are a few photos from the trip. I’m sure we’ll be visiting again before long.
